The superb series of Swedish crime dramas draws to a close with a typically complex case to solve that involves car crime, a minor orgy and an incendiary device that blows an old house apart, killing innocent residents in the process.
Martin Beck (played by Steven Macintosh) takes a back seat, leaving the hard work to Kollberg (Neil Pearson) and Larsson (Ralph Ineson). Rarely did two police officers have such a different approach to their work, which makes for some arch comic moments.
