Wayne Rigsby takes centre stage tonight. The lovable CBI lunk is under investigation by La Roche (yes, he’s back too) for killing someone in the course of his duties: we don’t know who or why, but we flash back a week to find out. The case involves Rigsby’s grizzled, redneck, ex-biker dad, a serial wrong ’un who somehow fathered the squarest, dopiest agent in all of Californian law enforcement. Rigsby senior is implicated in the gang warfare of a nasty town called Carson Springs. So Jane decides to step in as peacemaker.
About this programme
4/22. The CBI team attends the scene of a murder in Carson Springs - a small town divided by two rival gangs. A blood trail next to the victim leads to another mystery when Rigsby finds his father Steve in a nearby shack with a bullet in his heart. He also seems unable, or unwilling, to talk as his son and Lisbon try unsuccessfully to get information from him. Guest starring William Forsythe (Boardwalk Empire, The Rock).
