About this programme
The work of the Spinal Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire, whose staff have been responsible for treating many Paralympic competitors. The programme follows patients as they adjust to living with a disability, and athletes who received care at the hospital discuss how the work of the hospital's doctors and nurses transformed their lives.
