About this programme
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall investigates the world's diminishing fish stocks and sets out to understand what is happening to the British fishing industry. He begins by launching an ambitious campaign against EU regulations that cause more than half of the cod caught in the North Sea to be thrown back in dead, and teams up with head chef Tim Maddams in an effort to revolutionise the traditional British chip shop.
