Letherbridge certainly has more than its fair share of eccentrics: take Terry (Ian Ashpitel), for instance. When we first see him he’s sitting in a tepee dressed in native American regalia, chanting. Terry is passionately supportive of Pine Lodge, a day centre for ex-servicemen, so when local councillor Martin Wolstencroft (Mark Hesketh) proposes funding cuts during a council meeting, Terry gets so angry he fires a child’s bow and arrow at his opponent. Meanwhile, Zara’s attempts to cheer up Daniel with a dinner party go awry.
Make the most of Doctors this week – it’s taking a three-week break for the Olympics after Thursday.
