Daniel (Matthew Chambers) awakes to a storm raging outside and baby Joe crying. He drifts back to sleep but when he wakes again, he’s in a strange room in a huge house where he finds Zara (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh) with a teenage boy whom Zara claims is Joe (Jack Armstrong). Daniel passes out to come round in a hospital and hear Zara telling the consultant he’s a heavy drinker and had a violent argument with his son last night.
It’s the start of some nightmarish experiences for Daniel and a very confusing storyline for us. Is he imagining all this? Has he somehow lost 15 years of his life? Or is there a much simpler explanation?
