One sign that the wait is nearly over is that this series is finishing. In a final episode of British Olympic Dreams, Ore Oduba and Sonali Shah present profiles of our gold medal hopes, including heptathlon poster girl Jessica Ennis and world champion swimmer Rebecca Adlington.
Olympic torch bearer Ben Ainslie talks about his bid for a fourth sailing gold, and there’s glorious footage of the Searle brothers’ unexpected victory in the coxed pairs at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. On 2 August, exactly 20 years on from that victory, Greg Searle will compete in the Eights.

Plus, a look back at the gold-winning performance of brothers Greg and Jonny Searle in the coxed pairs rowing event at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, which Greg is hoping to emulate 20 years later in London in the men's eight.
