The canal has offered a cold embrace to many Coronation Street residents over the years and tonight looks set to claim another victim. So, has Peter Barlow, presumably weighed down with whisky miniatures, really decided to end his days at this deadliest of locations?
Not that Ken seems all that bothered. After being told by a police officer that the body they’ve found may be disfigured, he cuts her off by coolly replying, “I’ve read enough Ruth Rendell. I know it won’t be pretty.” If only he could give some lessons in calm to Kirsty, who once again unleashes her wrath upon poor Tyrone.
About this programme
Carla informs Leanne and Ken of a desperate voicemail message Peter left on her phone, and after contacting the police to report him missing, they are informed that a body has been pulled from the canal. Kirsty falls ill at the cafe while Tyrone is busy doing a favour for Fiz, and Brian tells Julie the reason behind his reluctance to take action against Lindsay. Meanwhile, Rob flirts with Eva in the Rovers.
