About this programme

The cookery competition arrives in Edinburgh, where entrepreneur Jacquie Sandison holds the first dinner party of the week. She kicks off the competition in a disorganised manner with a disastrous attempt at making hollandaise sauce, before former teacher Coranne Denham, pilot Gordon Davidson and off-licence manager Terry Morton try to improve on her efforts. Despite being in competition with each other, an unlikely flirtation develops between two of the hosts.
