Elsewhere in the city, his colleague Steve Harris faces the delicate task of transferring a man injured in a car crash to an ambulance, while in Essex police officer Mel Warren has some explaining to do after a lorry driver damages a colleague's bike. Cornish paramedic Sarah Watson responds to a call from the family of a stroke patient, and in North Yorkshire a driver's defective tyres could result in him being taken off the road.
