About this programme

2/10. Jules Hudson continues his journey in Scotland, where he learns about the ingenuity of cooks during the Second World War by sampling rationing-era dishes. He also discovers the dangers faced by hundreds of women who worked in munitions factories, and hears from relatives of young victims of the war effort.
