The crooner brings his knighted lungs to LSO St Luke’s in London, for a session of the aged folk, country, gospel and blues that have dominated his last two albums. There’ll be a rehearsal-room vibe as Sir Tom performs with a band led by his record producer, Ethan Johns.
Guests for this include Seasick Steve for a version of Mississippi Fred McDowell’s You Gotta Move – famously covered by the Rolling Stones on Sticky Fingers – and young Londoner Josh Osho on Big Bill Broonzy’s Black Brown and White blues.
