About this programme

Paul Martin leaves behind the world of antiques and embarks on a nationwide tour in an effort to learn more about Britain's traditional rural crafts. The first programme witnesses the presenter take part in hedge laying in Shropshire, dry stone walling in the Pennines, and thatching in Somerset.
