A well-behaved Gordon Ramsay, who is considerably less excitable and cleaner of mouth in his daytime berth, keeps insisting that these are recipes to “stake your life on”. Crikey, why on earth would anyone wish to do that?
He’s overstating the case, but never mind because, even if you don’t stake your life on Ramsay’s leek and gruyère rosti with fried eggs, it looks easy to make. In fact, all the dishes here are designed to be swift to prepare and gentle on the pocket. Ramsay also offers us tips on cooking pasta and on buying the right pans.

6/20. The chef takes to the kitchen once again to demonstrate how to make more delicious meals on a budget, preparing recipes including leek and gruyere rosti with fried eggs, an apple crumble, and gnocchi.
