In a concert first broadcast last September, Robert Ziegler conducts the BBC Philharmonic in a performance of music from James Bond films at MediaCityUK in Salford, with guest singers Ren Harvieu, Lance Ellington and Claire Moore. There are also excerpts from the soundtracks of other espionage thrillers, including Mission: Impossible, Where Eagles Dare and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. The programme also features an interview with John Barry, recorded in 2001, in which the composer discusses his life and career. Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode present.
