Attempts to bring stability to Somalia are way in the background as its capital Mogadishu is portrayed as a hell-hole full of AK47-toting locals. When the Section 20 exit strategy goes wrong, Stonebridge and Scott must shoot their way out of the city, along with that fetching diplomatic attaché (Rhona Mitra). It’s all slightly confusing – especially when Charles Dance turns up in a scenic South Africa — but we do get an inkling as to where the vengeance of the title’s going to originate.
About this programme
2/10. Stonebridge, Scott and the rest of the team need to escape Waabri's lair and get to safety, but as if the task wasn't difficult enough, they discover the warlord has put a bounty on their heads - dead or alive. Sinclair breaks a direct order and instructs the group to make their way to an evacuation point, where a chopper will be waiting - but getting there requires a trip through war-torn Mogadishu. Military drama, starring Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton.
