3/7. Ruth Watson visits Carnfield Hall in Derbyshire, which owner James Cartland - cousin of author Barbara Cartland - single-handedly restored after buying it in a dilapidated state 22 years ago. Now approaching retirement, he is finding the burden of care and preservation too much, but Ruth believes the answer to the building's future security lies with the estate's 90 acres of unused parkland.
