At the aquatics centre, two Scottish swimmers at opposite ends of their careers take to the pool. Seasoned Paralympian Jim “the swim” Anderson has a collection of 17 medals dating back to 1992: the S2 50m freestyle is his last chance of another individual medal in London. Meanwhile, Glaswegian Andrew Mullen competes in the S5 50m butterfly: aged 15, Mullen is already European silver medallist.
