When Immie meets up with friend Rachel (Rachel Caffrey) and her policeman boyfriend, Wes (Sam Swainsbury), for lunch, she has no idea what she’s letting herself in for. Rachel confides that Wes beats her as punishment for her “bad” behaviour, while Wes makes out that Rachel is a self-harmer he’s trying to help. And when Wes gives Immie a lift home, she finds herself in a dangerous position.
Meanwhile, Jas starts her new job, so moves out of Kevin’s into a grotty bedsit; and Daniel refuses Jimmi’s help, saying that just because Jimmi has a mental disorder he thinks everyone else must have as well.
