The South Bank Show

Series 1 - 3. The Origins of Grime Music

Radio Times
Review by:
David Crawford

Lord Bragg has a great name for a rapper but doesn’t look comfortable acting as MC for this film toasting the success of Dizzee Rascal and Tinchy Stryder, who grew out of the UK grime music scene. But in tracing the explosion of the genre from a few kids making music on games consoles, the film has great archive footage and probing interviews.
