Andy Murray looked to be heading out of the tournament on day nine last year when he trailed Viktor Troicki by two sets to love, but the British number one fought back to win the next two sets before bad light prevented any further play. In the women's draw, Li Na beat Petra Kvitova in three sets and Maria Sharapova continued her progress with a 7-6, 7-5 victory over Agnieszka Radwanska.
