As if the mountainous and brooding Sebastian Bergman couldn’t be any more charming we find out that he’s a sex addict, a predator who hits on vulnerable women. As those mournful horns drape themselves across the soundtrack, Bergman (Rolf Lassgard) picks up a woman at a group therapy session like a walrus lumbering to catch dinner. Luckily for everyone involved Bergman manages to drag himself upright to offer his views on a fetishistic serial killer who dresses his victims in identical nighties.
Considering last week’s appalling behaviour, the cops aren’t pleased to see him again, particularly the sparky young Vanja, who says, witheringly: “A pity [the victims] are all women. There are no widows for you to comfort.”
