This gushing hagiography, presented by Alan Titchmarsh, gives members of the royal family the chance to place Her Majesty on a very high pedestal indeed. Anne and Andrew describe how she made family life as normal as possible while William, who patently adores his grandmother, describes the emotional and practical support she gave him when he got married and reveals that she and Prince Philip are the first to laugh when a public event goes slightly wrong. Tucked away among the paeans of praise are real gems, including delightful home-movie footage and revealing letters.
