When 19-year-old Ollie stepped up from being the manager of a well-established restaurant in Somerset to taking over the lease, he had great plans. He intended opening several more venues and aimed to be a millionaire by the age of 25. But with diners walking out before finishing their meals, he clearly needs the help of Fernando Peire to achieve his goal.
In this programme, Fernando is flabbergasted at what he discovers — for starters, Ollie doesn’t eat eggs, lamb, moules or steak and doesn’t know what focaccia or chorizo is. “I honestly think you’re in the wrong business,” Fernando tells him.
