Casualty

Series 26 - 37. All in a Day's Nightmare

Radio Times
Review by:
Jane Rackham

This episode focuses on Britney, the troubled niece of Linda, and the Chilcots, a family with two teenage boys, one of whom is a gifted trumpeter while the other seems
to be a bit of a wastrel.

Without wishing to spoil the fun of viewers who play “Guess the stiff”, the first injury (though not a fatality) is to the boys’ father, Clive, who’s beaten to a bloody pulp and dumped outside his house.

Meanwhile Linda (Christine Tremarco) has realised she has no control over Britney. Even Lenny (Steven Miller), who’s working his last shift before moving to pathology, can’t get through to the cocky little madam.

About this programme

37/41. Part one of two. A father is admitted to the ED with serious injuries and, despite the presence of two bickering police officers, it's Charlie who discovers he is being harassed by loan sharks. Meanwhile, Lenny finds out Britney has arranged to meet an acquaintance from an internet chat room, and Scarlett's first meeting with Lloyd's family does not go according to plan. Guest starring Geff Francis (Ashes to Ashes) and Ellen Thomas (Rev).
