Daniel, Heston and Zara are pulling their hair out as they interview a series of completely hopeless candidates for Julia’s old position as practice manager. However, just as they’re beginning to despair, ex-army officer and divorcee Howard Bellamy bursts through the door and totally dominates the interview. But will his military approach to problem solving prove to be a bit much for the rest of the staff at the Mill health centre?
The answer is yes it probably will, but that won’t stop Captain Bellamy being appointed. Casualty, Emmerdale and Blue Murder fans will recognise the actor playing Howard – it’s Ian Kelsey.
