About this programme
Ellie Harrison follows the River Humber's course from one of its key tributaries to the North Sea to examine how it has shaped the landscape, nourished an array of wildlife and acted as an aid to human endeavour. Along the way, she reflects on some of the series' highlights out on the water, including Matt Baker's training with the RNLI flood rescue team and Julia Bradbury's visit to woollen mills in West Yorkshire.
