If you turn on your TV tand are marvelling at how much Engelbert Humperdinck looks like Tom Jones these days, you’re a little premature. It's not the Eurovision Song Contest. But you could always think of The Voice UK as a vocal warm-up to the big event.
The four coaches each have two acts left in the competition but can choose only one to go through to next week’s final. So we can expect an annoying amount of “This is such a hard decision” procrastination. What should be interesting is seeing the hopefuls sing with their mentors as well as performing individually.
Who stays and who goes, as usual, will be revealed in the results show.
About this programme
11/12. There are now only eight acts left - Jessie J's hopes are riding on Vince and Becky, Tom Jones has Leanne and Ruth, Bo and Max make up Team Danny, while Will.i.am is represented by Jaz and Tyler. Here the coaches join their protégés for group performances, as well as the singers' individual numbers as they make a last-ditch bid for next week's final. With only four places up for grabs, however, the competition will be tougher than ever. Hosted by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates.
