True eclecticism defines Jools’s halo of creativity in this edition — the headline act is probably Paloma Faith, whose second album is imminent. Joining her are spectral duo Beach House, angel-voiced reggae legend Jimmy Cliff, theatrical Swedish rockers the Hives, and jazz-tinged multi-instrumentalist Esperanza Spalding (she sings and plays double bass!). Filling the young English singer/songwriter slot is Jake Bugg, a skiffly, Dylanesque urchin from Nottingham.
