Forget his sporting stardom, former cricket all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is carving out a new career as a TV adventurer because he’s just like you and me. Sort of. He’s a lot bigger and tougher, but he’s still a beginner at surviving in the wild. Here, he has a close encounter with a monstrous, 15ft crocodile that, well… we can all have a laugh afterwards. “Missus will go mad when she sees this” is Freddie’s verdict.

It’s the highlight of an entertaining jaunt across Australia’s tropical northern region with Aboriginal guides. Entertaining stuff, full of hunting and shooting but not too grisly, with regular bushtucker trials. Mmm, tasty.
