A dating show that takes the abject nightmare of speed-dating to new levels, really quite literally: you’re stuck in a lift with these people as well. One sexy singleton rides an elevator up to a penthouse, stopping on every floor to pick up a fellow sexy singleton, with whom they complete sexy tasks. Then when the doors open again, it’s time to choose. Stick with the person you were just trapped with, or try someone new? Like a sexy, more enclosed version of Four Rooms, there’s no going back.

When the penthouse is reached and a final mate has been picked, the logical conclusion doesn’t arrive: friends, family and presenter (and T4 regular) Will Best are waiting there.

1/6. New series. Lift-based dating show, in which contestants meet prospective partners during their ascent to a penthouse bar. Each time the doors open, the participant is forced to choose between their current passenger and the singleton who stands before them, with only one making it to the highest floor. The tables are turned when the couple reaches the top floor as the chosen contender decides whether to accept the date or gamble for a cash prize. Among the first contestants is Olivia from Manchester, who is treated to an unusual massage. Presented by Will Best.
