Although The Voice’s viewing figures dipped when Britain’s Got Talent hit its stride, it’s still exceeded expectations and now that Mr Cowell and co have left the Saturday-night arena, it should do even better. Of course there have been niggles in the press, mainly to do with Will.i.am’s tweeting on air, Jessie J’s outspoken comments, the pre-recording of Sunday’s results shows and accusations that coaches’ comments were dull. (Nicknaming it “The Void” is a little harsh.)
We’re on the home stretch now – two acts from Team Jessie and Team Danny say goodbye, leaving eight acts in place for the semi-final.
About this programme
10/12. Team Jessie and Team Danny take the stage again - first in group performances with their coaches and then individually - and as last week, each team will face a double elimination, leaving the mentors with two acts to join Jaz, Tyler, Leanne and Ruth in the semi-final. Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates present the show, while Tom Jones and Will.i.am comment on Becky, Cassius, Toni, Vince, Aleks, Bo, David and Max's performances. The results can be seen tomorrow at 7.25pm.
