The hilarious science-nerd comedy hits paydirt with a guest appearance by Stephen Hawking, but before Sheldon gets even more overwrought than usual at meeting “perhaps my only intellectual equal”, there are treats aplenty.
It’s Howard who’s been given the opportunity to get close to Hawking, and in return for offering to show the venerable physicist Sheldon’s paper on the Higgs Boson, he insists on Sheldon doing him some favours. Cleaning his belt buckles is one thing, but getting him to dress up in an outfit Bernadette rejected? That’s just cruel (if laugh-out-loud funny). Even the rest of the cast seem hard pressed to restrain themselves…
