All Balls and Glitter is not the typical title for an autobiography of a guest on this distinguished show, but Craig Revel Horwood has never had a problem with what people think about him. Currently under the spotlight on BBC2’s Maestro as he tries to be as dazzling a conductor as he is a choreographer, Horwood makes an absolutely charming guest and even hard-core Radio 3 snobs will find themselves warming to his engaging chuckle.

Michael Berkeley welcomes Australian-born choreographer and director Craig Revel Horwood, perhaps best known as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing. He has also appeared in the West End productions of Cats and Miss Saigon, and worked in the field of opera, including productions of Carmen and Il Trovatore. His private musical passions include excerpts from Don Giovanni, La Bohème and La Traviata, as well as songs by Adele and Eva Cassidy, a tango by Astor Piazzolla, and music from Sunset Boulevard.
