Based on a French series of books about a young zebra, this animation delivers plenty of gentle entertainment. It’s rendered in a recognisably human-style family in which young Zou earns his stripes by helping his elders and friends. Zou wants to be a detective when he grows up and goes looking for a case to solve. Before long he’s helping to look for Granny’s lost teeth.
