“I have a spliff before I come into school because it makes me chilled out,” is, apparently, not a rare thing for young people to tell their teachers. This intricately researched and carefully balanced documentary follows a 12-year-old boy whose cannabis use is so out of control that he would be in custody were it not for a new family therapy and home drug-testing programme.
