About this programme
2/4. A series of scandals makes for an interesting few days in the quiet village of St Mary Mead, and most seem to revolve around a blustering local colonel, whose brusque manner and short temper make him unpopular with his fellow villagers. When he is found dead with a bullet through the head, Miss Marple and the reluctant DI Slack investigate. Whodunit, starring Geraldine McEwan as Miss Marple, with Jane Asher, Jason Flemying, Derek Jacobi and Miriam Margoyles.
