While we’re not quite in the realm of spinning heads, there are definite shades of The Exorcist in this concluding episode. Shortly before her sudden death, 15-year-old Eve told her psychiatrist she believed she was possessed by demons. Leo concludes that this is what indirectly caused her death. But, because he’s not lazy and still isn’t sure, he continues investigating. For a drama based in scientific facts, there’s a bit too much mumbo jumbo. But there are also some cracking effects and a startling performance from Adrian Dunbar.
