“You stay where you are. I’ll explain later – it’s nothing to worry about,” Leo tells Janet
(Jaye Griffiths) reassuringly, despite having seen what prison officer Daniel Kessler is capable of doing. The Prof has also very foolishly alerted the vicious screw, therefore putting Janet in terrible danger. Leo Gregory gives a chilling performance as the manipulative psychopathic killer in this gory episode.
Like so many Silent Witness instalments, it is such a tangle of motives, half-truths, greed and power struggles that you’ll need your own glaring laboratory lights to unpick them all.
