About this programme
Germany v Greece (Kick-off 7.45pm). Coverage of the second quarter-final at the Arena Gdansk in Poland, between the winners of Group B and the runners-up in Group A. The Germans were by far the outstanding team in their group, winning all three of their contests against Portugal, the Netherlands and Denmark, and will go into this match as the clear favourites to reach the semi-finals. The Greeks were largely unconvincing when drawing with Poland and losing to the Czech Republic in their opening two Group A encounters, and looked to be heading home at the earliest opportunity. However, a shock 1-0 win over group favourites Russia helped them to finish second in the table and move one step closer to emulating their 2004 triumph in this competition. The victors in this contest will progress to the second of the two semi-finals, in which they will face the winners of the fourth quarter-final between England and Italy. Presented by Adrian Chiles, with commentary by Peter Drury and Jim Beglin, and analysis by Roy Keane, Roberto Martinez and Gareth Southgate. Subsequent programmes subject to change.
