About this programme

The actress travels on board an air ambulance in Devon, joining a crew as they rush to help an injured footballer and an aviation emergency at Exeter airport, where a plane attempts a potentially fatal crash landing. Angela also witnesses the work of Glasgow paramedics, and assists a man whose arm is broken so badly, even the professionals struggle to look without flinching.
