While it doesn’t have a seven-storey pyramid like Diarmuid Gavin’s exhibit at Chelsea in 2012 did, the Gardeners’ World Live show does have a Living Wall, a vertical border filled with plants donated by hundreds of keen gardeners.
The NEC in Birmingham is filled with inspirational show gardens, ranging from one designed to promote relaxation to an industrial landscape referencing the city’s industrial heritage. But if neither of those is enough to get your green fingers twitching, Monty Don and the team will escort you around some truly stunning displays that might just do the job.
About this programme
In an hour-long edition, Monty Don, Carol Klein, Rachel de Thame and Joe Swift report from Gardeners' World Live at the NEC in Birmingham, exploring the best displays and plants the show has to offer. They also invite members of the public to contribute spare flowers to the programme's Living Wall, and offer ideas for seasonal jobs for viewers to be getting on with at home.
