Good news for fans of Kimball Cho. This week, the CBI agent with the face of granite and the heart of ice has a moment. At one stage he even raises his voice and shows an expression other than a dead-eyed stare. It’s taken three and a half series but we may be getting a glimpse of the man behind the monosyllables.
All of that is the side-dish to a mould-breaking sort of episode, as Patrick Jane decides to prove an accused woman’s innocence while the jury on her murder case is deliberating.
