About this programme

Helen Skelton passes the halfway mark on her 500 mile trek to the South Pole, and decides to put away her kites and complete the remainder of her journey using only her bike and skis. However, her Norweigan teammate Niklas is less than happy about her choice, and the pair are forced to travel for 14 hours a day to be in with a chance of completing the challenge in time. Things get worse when Helen develops a nasty cough.
