About this programme

5/6. Alex tries to turn around the fortunes of a faltering fancy-dress business in Essex. The troubleshooter soon identifies several problems - owner Adele has too much stock, with thousands of items filling the shop, garages and outhouses, and she is a workaholic with little trust for anyone else, while her mother Joy cannot stand the customers touching the goods. Alex's plan of action forces Adele's children to get more involved and gives the staff more to do - but how will they cope with a grand relaunch on Halloween, their busiest day of the year?
