Gloria Hunniford presents this consumer series that explores viewers’ experiences of doorstep cons, scams and burglaries. Some fell victim to a cowboy builder or rogue tradesman who pestered them through cold calling. Others tell how a charming chap knocked on their door one day — and distracted them while his less charming mate nipped in the back door and stole their valuables.

Produced by the makers of The Real Hustle, it’s not all doom and gloom. There are some positive tales, too. “We’ve met some inspirational people who’ve found ingenious ways of fighting back,” says Hunniford.
