About this programme

On the north-west coast of Ireland, Neil Oliver visits an Atlantic Ocean monitoring station off the shore of Galway, while further south, in Clifden, Dick Strawbridge leads a team of radio experts trying to re-create the 100-year-old technology that sent the first transatlantic commercial wireless messages.
