Pan Am

Series 1 - 11. Diplomatic Relations

Diplomatic Relations
Radio Times
Review by:
Alison Graham

Now that the Cold War is thawing, Pan Am’s boss is keen to open up new routes so the cabin crew cuties (and that’s just the men) get set to fly to Moscow. Pilot Dean, who looks perpetually baffled by his own gorgeousness, doesn’t let a bit of cheating on Colette get in his way, but his handsome nose is put out of joint by a newcomer to the flight deck.

Squeaky little Maggie, meanwhile, is having an affair with a right-wing senator, but she doesn’t agree with his policies. Which is odd, as you wouldn’t think Maggie could grasp a political thought if it sat on her lap and rubbed her temples.
