Both sides have new coaches in the shape of Phillipe Saint-Andre and Jacques Brunel respectively, and Les Bleus are looking to build on their surprise run to the final of last year's World Cup. They will need to improve on their performance in their meeting with the Azzurri in March during last season's Six Nations, when they lost 22-21 in Rome, thanks largely to Mirco Bergamasco kicking five penalties and a conversion for the Italians.
