Pilot episodes usually have a lot of plot to divulge and this soapy drama is no exception. The set-up is this: long-lost twins (both played by Alexandra Chando) have been separated under mysterious circumstances, one adopted by a wealthy family, the other raised within the foster system. Things get complicated when the pair meet up as teenagers and, due to reasons too byzantine to explain, they trade places.
It’s The Prisoner of Zenda meets Mean Girls, if such a thing can be imagined, and while it’s never going to trouble any Emmy judges, it has
a pleasant pep to its step.
